Visionary for the Blind and Visually Impaired

3rd Eye is another spiritual eye of yours, a new visionary for the blind, making lives of every human beings easier by this utility eye. Despite the fact that everyone needs to be social distancing, reduction of unnecessary contact of objects is predominant; but this is not easy for the blind, they need to get a sense of what it feels like. Therefore, I am aspiring to introduce an advantageous project to minimize contact, and with the significance of Artificial Intelligence and notable of Image and Speech Processing: this project is probable, and I will bring it to live!

Research

There are several thoughts of the outcome, aiming for the most intuitive approach; such that 3rd Eye may just be the app to install in your phone or a real wearable and portable devices. Moreover, creating an app is more accessible to everyone.

Conclusion

3RD Eye will have 2 stages; as an app and the wearable devices

Stage 1

Stage 1 :
I would like the outcome of my project to be the mobile application that is more accessible to everyone, without any extra materials.
For now, I can integrate the object detection model to text to speech in Thai; still need to learn how to deploy into mobile app. Moreover, I might need to change and minimize the size of the model.

Stage 2

Stage 2 :
Design a prototype, glasses for the blind and connect the model to the board. I hope that this will be really fun. Furthermore, there still need to be UX/UI processes to make it suitable and most advantageous to the blind.
